Sa isang Facebook post inanunsyo ng FB page na Cup of Faith inanunsyo na namatay si Jan Catherine Sy, ang apo ng SM magnate na si Henry Sy Sr. at anak ng chairman ng SM Prime Holdings na si Henry Sy Jr.
Ayon sa pahayag ng Cup of Faith, “Dear family and friends, tonight, march 18, 2021 at 6:35 PM, our dearest daughter Jan Catherine Sy is now with the Lord Jesus already. Blessed be the name of the Lord. You give and take away. My heart will choose to say Lord, blessed be your name.”
