Matapos tawaging bobo ang mga Senador, rumesbak si Sen. Drilon!

Nicall-out ni Senate Minority Floor Leader Franklin Drilon ang National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) spokesperson na si Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. na nagsabing ‘bobo’ ang mga Senador na gustong i-defund ang task force.

Sa isang pahayag nag bitaw si Drilon na, “It’s really disrespectful to say the least if Parlade said that we are stupid for passing this (budget for NTF-ELCAC).”

Idinagdag niya na siya, kasama ang ibang mga Senador, na kinakalaban na nila ang funds ng task force.

Inatake rin ni Drilon na nilalabag ni Parlade ang konstitusyon at nagsabing, “A first-year law student will tell you a cardinal rule in the constitution that those who are in the active military service are prohibited from occupying civilian positions.

He is illegally occupying his position as the task force’s spokesperson.”
