Hinamon ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon ang lokal na mga opisyal ng Negros Occidental na hingan sila ng kanyang pamilya ng permit para sa community pantry na ipapatayo nila.
Noong Huwebes nagbitaw ng pahayag si Guanzon at sabi nito, “My sister doctor asked me to set up a community pantry in front of our parents’ house in Cadiz. Go ahead, fools, require me to get a permit. Make my day.”
Ito ay tugon niya sa isang opisyal ng Department of the Interior and Local Government na nagsabing ang mga organizers ng community pantries ay dapat mag-siguro ng permit sa mga local authorities.
